Lazy G Kennels

Right Breed for You?
The Beagle has an even temper and gentle disposition. Described in several breed standards as "merry", the beagle is amiable and generally neither aggressive nor timid. The Beagle enjoys company, and although they may initially be standoffish with strangers, they are easily won over. The Beagle makes poor guard dogs for this reason, although their tendency to bark or howl when confronted with the unfamiliar makes them good watch dogs. AKC ranks the beagle as the 8th most popular dog in the U.S.

***Guardian Program***
Here at Lazy G Kennels, we understand that dogs are happiest when they are with their people which is why we have decided to implement a guardian program for a few females in our breeding program.
Think our guardian program is for you?
- Do you live within 50 miles of Summit County, UT?
- Are you willing to contract a female with Lazy G Kennels for 5 years or 5 litters, whichever comes first?
- Do you understand the beagle breed and are you ready for their shenanigans in your home?
- Do you have a fully fenced, beagle proof yard?
- Are you willing to keep a guardian female in optimal health with proper diet and exercise?
If you answered yes to the above questions, the guardian program may be for you. Go to "OUR PACK" page to learn more about the guardian program and to fill out an application.

Meet Our Family
My husaband and I were married in 2012, we moved to Summit County shortly before our first son was born where we settled in, raising kids and dogs. We live on a litte over an acre and my family owns a cattle ranch just down the road where the kids and beagles can run free. Our family is our passion; kids, dogs and cows.
